JUDr. Daniela Surkošová

Registered in the List of Advocates of the Slovak Bar Association under the Registration No.: 0990.

Graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law where she studied in the years 1968 – 1973 as The Masterly Doctor in law in 1975.
She finished her postgraduate study of Economic Law at the same university (Comenius University in Bratislava) in the years 1975 – 1977.
She completed her postgraduate study of Industrial Law at the Technical University in Bratislava in the years 1983 – 1985.
She has been performing her legal practice since 1973. Until 1990 she worked as a lawyer, later as the head of legal department in the construction company Hydrostav and from 1990 till 1992 she worked as an advisor of the Legislative Committee of  National Parliament of Slovak Republic.
She has been performing her independent legal practice since 1992.

Back in the years 1988 and 1989 JUDr. Daniela Surkošová as one of the first in that time Czechoslovakia established a joint-venture company with a foreign capital interest and she later was in the lead of an expert group for the area of Corporate Law.
In the year 1991 she was a member of the legislative group dealing with the codification of the Commercial Code and participated in its hearing in respective committees and the plenum of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
She was in charge of an expert group dealing with market research and preparation of contracts for various Italian institutions, mainly for the association CONFINDUSTRIA  and the company UNIMIS. She gave lectures on Legal Order of the Slovak Republic after the year 1990 at various conferences in Italy and later on gradual implementation of Community law into the Legal Order of the Slovak Republic.

She specializes in Civil and Commercial Law, mainly in Corporate Law, Building Law and Administrative Law. She is a legal advisor of the Italian company TIME HOLDING in the area of temporary work and interim job procurement.

She is a member of the international association ASSINFORT focusing on recovery of indemnification in the event of vehicle accidents abroad, including bodily injury and so called  moral injury in the event of close relatives death. She gave a speech on the topic Differences of Legal Regulation of EU Member states at the Charles University in Prague in 2002 and at the Faculty of Law of the Budapest University in 2003.

JUDr. Daniela Surkošová cooperates with legal department of the Italian institute INAIL in Rome to which she provides consulting and full legal service concerning indemnification in the events of work related accidents of Italian citizens on the territory of the Slovak Republic.
